I needed to rent a car from Enterprise while my personal vehicle was in the shop. When I arrived to the location the representative explained to me that my insurance company would only allow $30 or less a day to rent a vehicle. I was aware of this already and told the rep that I would like a sedan that was within that price range. The rep said “Okay” and left to get the vehicle. Instead of pulling up in the sedan, he pulled up in a SUV and said “I can give you this” without explanation as to why he didn’t give me the sedan I asked for nor did he inform me that it went over the $30 limit. Naturally, I assumed he gave me the vehicle because the sedan was not available. But I stress — he did not inform me that I would charged $35 a day instead. There was a lack of communication on his part.
After a couple of weeks I checked my bank account to find that Enterprise was charging me an extra $5 per day + tax since the vehicle went over the $30 a day limit. I called Enterprise and spoke with a manager named Lucretia. I explained to Lucretia what happened and that there was a lack of communication on the Enterprise rep’s part and that I would like to be reimbursed for the extra $5 a day + tax that I was being charged. Lucretia basically said you signed the contract so that’s it. She did not apologize, she did not show empathy, she didn’t even ask who the rep was that gave me the vehicle and failed to explain to me that the car would be over what the insurance company allowed. As a manager, she did not display good customer service. I called corporate and explained to them what happened.
Today, I went to drop off my rental and met with the same rep who gave me the vehicle. He remembered me. I explained to him what happened and that he gave me a vehicle that went over the insurance company’s limit. He responded with something like “Oh!” and tried to reimburse me but couldn’t figure out how to do it so he called over the Assistant Manager, Lacy Johnston. Lacy apologized for what happened, made changes in the system to reimburse me the amount (over $100) I was owned, and gave me her business card. Lacy was empathetic, professional, and courteous. I did not experience that with Lucretia. The rep also did not apologize for his mistake either, he stood beside Lacy as I was explaining to her what happened and did not speak up about the part he played in giving me that vehicle.
I am not happy with my experience this time. They give you cars that the tags are out of date. They gave me a free upgrade but charge me for the upgrade. They didn't update my demographics but chose to called the police on me because they couldn't get in touch with me. The assistant manager Lacy Johnston is very rude. When you are trying to explain something to her, she over talks you. Then wants to put you out in the cold and lock the door. She does not need to be working the people and definitely doesn't need to be a manager.
They need to fire the assistant manager, Lacy Johnston. She doesn't have good customer service. She is not able to handle problems accurately. Enterprise gives cars that the tags have expired. I heard from a few people that Lacy was rude to them. She even locked the door on a customer to keep them for having a conversation with her. I definitely wouldn't have her managing anything of mine. She needs to have a profession where she doesn't have to deal with the public. Maybe correctional officer or something.
I appreciate that Whole Crew, Everyone that I've encountered while picking up a rental, we're more then Amazing.
Customer Service at the Rock Hill Anderson location is, How I would expect it at my own business.
Mind You I Didn't Know Any of the Staff, But Can Go in and We Can Have A Time of Laughter While Waiting to Pick Up.
Enterprise Car Rental is always a pleasure to deal with when we need a Rental Car. The Staff on duty at the Enterprise on South Anderson Rd in Rock Hill, SC, offer the best Customer Service. They are knowledgeable, personable, courteous and kind when dealing with customers that are already upset about their situation. They are expedient, helpful and impressive.
The rental process was so easy and I was given a chose as to which car I wanted. Loved the new Nissan Altima! Didn't want to take it back! Shout out to Cameron for helping me with the insurance on the car! I'd go back here any time. My appointment was made at the wrong Enterprise and they helped me in a timely manner anyways. Exceeded my expectations on the rental car process.
Customer service was great. Brandon gave me the utmost service I have ever received. He worked with me to give me the best Service I've had when renting a vehicle. He was outstanding, explained the rental process clearly.
Also, the driver Julio went above and beyond to get me to my destination I was going to. He was very friendly and outgoing. He was very pleasing to have as my pickup driver.. I enjoyed my visit and rental with Enterprise in Rock Hill SC.
My insurance company contacted Enterprise Rentals for me so I could reserve a vehicle. All the reservations were made on a Monday, from the make and model of the vehicle and when I would come by to pick it up. I arrived on that Friday morning of the same week, only to find out that they only had a small Toyota and a SUV! Neither vehicle was not what I had reserved. Making reservations prior to going somewhere, or going on vacation is a very good idea, Enterprise Rentals failed me and I was left without a vehicle for the rest of the weekend! Never again will I try to use their services!
